Snowy and Crazy ~:)

We are "snowed" in again today... or more snowed OUT.... no school and who wants to go anywhere when it is 20 degrees outside- ummmmm- No thank you!!! I am NOT loving this weather we have had as of lately- I am the type that if it isn't going to snow atleast 12 inches I don't want any part of it. Especially last night as I was driving 15 MPH down Winchester Road and starting sliding in a complete 180 and landing in a ditch..... we were all OK (Thanks again Lord) my kids thought it was funny..... I was just ready to be home!!!

Well lets see... since the last post we have partied twice and started back into singing season with New Harmony. First- we had Melissa a suprise 30th birthday party at the church. Here are a few of my pics from that...




Second we went to Browns Chapel to kick off singing season. It was a really good singing- our first one since our dear friends The Kelly's had their accident. It was so precious to see ALL of our babies up their singing (and NO I am not referring to Joe David, Justin, Dustin and Chad) lol They sang "Brand New Mansion" and loved every minute of it. They are all falling in the footsteps of their daddys.... second generation "Little Redeemed". I don't have any pics from this and I REALLY wish I did.. maybe I will sneak a few in at Limrock this weekend ;)

Last- we had our Valentine party at church. (This really should be re-named Valentine Chaotic Frenzy) The kids LOVE this party we have every year- but it is pure madness. You add caffiene, cupcakes and a few games and prizes and it is MADNESS I tell you!!! We always get some totally cute pics though.... ok ok... I will share them if you are going to beg......





Other than all of that- we are pretty much just here..... this weather is NUTS and getting everyone bundled up to go to the been-running-using-all-my-gas-to-get-warm car and sweat in all of our big coats and then get out into the freezing cold to walk into a warm building is all enough to give any child pneumonia..... so I opt out.... if it isn't a major requirement that I be there (school, church, singings... etc....) I ain't going until it warms up (which by the way.... everything is a major requirement and I nearly ALWAYS have to go.... so I am just being a cry-baby about it....

And before I end this post (that I started at sometime around 11am and it is now 8pm and I have stopped to bathe 3 kids, get pjs on, pick up an exhausted baby that I am trying to get to hold out on going to sleep until the "big" kids do so I can have a moment, picked up laundry to add to the rest of the never-ending basket I have, fixed my hubby a plate and put it in the microwave for whenever he comes in from practice... oh... sorry... I forget that you don't care ........) ANY WHO.....
Kaden will be 10 months old in 2 days so I will throw in a Happy 10 month day to him... even though happy he is not..... more like " I am going to have a hissy if you don't put me to bed".....

OK- off to hide before they come with that white jacket with the extra long sleeves.....
